Isaiah 11 Months!

My world is rocked with the fact that our little guy is SO close to turning ONE! How on earth did that happen so dang quickly!?!?

Happy 11 Months Isaiah Jae!

11 Month Highlights:

-We celebrated Easter on a few occasions. We learned you do not like sitting on grass : ) You do love to play with plastic easter eggs!

-You went to Physical Therapy since you are behind on your motor development, and while you didn't love it, you did pretty well by the second half. You just take some time to warm up to new people and places. At the end, the therapist concluded you have excellent strength and ability, you are just chosing not to advance in some of your skills. And that's ok!  It will come with time!

-You love swinging and we try to take advantage of the cooler mornings or evening times. The girls both love to push you, and while you kick them in the face occasionally (we are still trying to teach them to step back : )!) you all just giggle when it happens!

-You finally started to enjoy your baths in your little tub with some squirty toys. You do not, however, love a bath in the big tub with sisters! That one was a quick, get you in, get you clean, and get your out. You just weren't having it!

-You enjoy your Mimi Daycare, and time with EL! Mama loves getting pictures at work of what you're doing!!

Clearly teething hard core!!

Sleeping: Bedtime is around 6 or 6:30 most nights, and you sleep until sometime between 5 and 6 most mornings. I feed you, then put you right back in bed. Most mornings you fall back asleep until 7:30 or so, but there are some mornings you just lay in your crib and play. 

First morning nap is around 9:30 or 10 am, and you sleep for about an hour and a half, sometimes 2! Second nap is around 2pm, and you sleep for 45 min to a little over an hour. 

You are very easy to put down, and you've embraced the fact that I indeed and going to keep rocking you, even just for one short song (You are My Sunshine usually!). You are quite the snuggler and will just lay your head on my shoulder. Oh I'm soaking that up!!

Eating: You breastfeed 4 times a day now, usually the early morning time, right before each nap, and then again before bed. You also eat 3 meals and a snack. Breakfast is usually oatmeal or smoothie. Lunch is usually a squeezie pouch with random crackers, veggie sticks, yogurt, teething crackers, fruit or whatever else I'm giving the girls that you will eat. Dinner I try to give you a modified version of whatever we're eating, but you still don't do well with meats/chicken even when chopped super small. You shove them all in your mouth, hoard them like a chipmunk and then cry b/c you can't swallow it all : ) Cheerios are usually involved at every meal as a way to keep you preoccupied/not hangry while Mama is getting food together! You LOVE cheerios and could eat them all day, every day!

Isaiah Loves:
-Monkey/jungle musical toy

-Balls

-Playing with ducky in the bath

-Swinging

-Being outside, taking walks, watching big sisters do things outside

-Cheerios

-When Isabella sings and plays with him

-Flying in the air

-Dancing

Isaiah Hates:

 -Shoes on his feet

11 Month Stats:

Weight: 15 lb 13 oz (way under the growth curve, we shall see what the MD says at your 12 mo visit!)

Height: 27 in (also under the growth curve...who knows!)

*4 teeth finally popped through this month! Two on the middle bottom, and 2 on the top, just to the sides of the middles (like vampire teeth!) 

*Still wearing size 2 diapers, size 6 mo clothes

 -You are rolling around everywhere now, from one side of the playroom to the other!
