Isabella's PINK Party! 3 Years Old!

Well our plans to have an outdoor, water themed party (pool, sprinklers on the slide, etc) got kaboshed this year thanks to the lovely pink cast.  At the last minute, we had to switch it up, and what could be more perfect than a  PINK party for the girl who LOVES pink (your choice, after you said Mickey Mouse which I have no idea why b/c you don't really know who he is, and have never seen a cartoon with him in it!).  At least with the pink theme, you had a giant pink cast to match!

It was a low key party, mostly because of everything going on (broken leg, getting ready to move this month, etc!), but we still had a lot of fun.

Mimi, Pops, Tia, Uncle G and Dani Leigh came over for a birthday dinner that you chose: Macaroni and Cheese, hot dogs, and fruit.  You wanted fresh fruit popsicles and cupcakes so you got both in small quantities. And you also picked out cheddar pretzles, and Mama threw in some homemade chocolate covered strawberries for good measure.

You were overloaded with presents this year, and I think it's because everyone knew you were going to need a lot of quiet and still activities over the next 2 months with this cast on.  You got lots of coloring books and crayons, markers, a giant paint pad with paint brush and paint set, a few activity and educational work books, some new Olivia the Pig books (you especially love the one where she gets a new ballerina tutu!), stickers, a couple pairs of sunglasses, and a new doll that you call Frozen (probably b/c she looks like Elsa from Frozen!).

We topped the night off with some good ole' Karaoke and you had a blast. We sang all your favorite songs and even some new ones.  You loved telling everyone else what to sing, and you certainly wanted the mic more than anyone else!

What a fun day to celebrate our little lady turning 3 years old!

Dancing in your chair...this cast won't keep you from feeling that music!

Cousins!

It's so sweet watching you get so excited over every single present!
